Bella Skort

I found this skort to be super cute and easy-peasy to sew together. Took advantage of it being Valentine’s to give The Daughter something easy for her to wear after the fancy dress. She loves these to the point that after I tried on the test skort, she wouldn’t let me take them off for 2 days. *shewee!* Liola Patterns did an wonderful job on these! Get yours now during a promotion of 30% off all Liola patterns until 26th Feb.

I was able to whip two of these bad boys out in about 4 hrs from cut to done!!! Do take care and measure the hem lines so that everything will line up correctly (Didn’t do well on the first one so I didn’t photograph it *cry*). And ironing is a MUST on these one to get everything straight. I absolute love this pattern.

I choose Glamour Tossed Rose Buds and Glamour Cream Tiny Roses, a Chong-A Hwang Collection by Timeless Treasures fabric. The movement and freedom is awesome with the “elastic in the back waistband for added comfort and ease”……

With the added sass of a faux pleated skirt front that is perfect for twirling! “These shorts have the right balance of comfort and practicality whilst still looking stunning. Light enough for any summers day and versatile to pair with tights for the winter.” ~ Liola Patterns
