Well, it’s Valentine’s Day! Breanna and I had the “Great” idea to make the kids Valentine themed outfits and set up a photo shoot. Man, were our peaceful parenting skills put to the test! A photo shoot for 4 kids ages 1-4? Are we NUTS? Let’s just say I was glad there were 2 of us!
Eventually, through negotiating, clever distractions, attempting to get them excited about pictures, and a few chocolate bribes (^_^) we did manage to get SOME cute pics! LOL
Beatrice has beautiful princess seams, that are great for accenting with trim OR like ours, piping! I just love the collar and low back on this dress! It also has a fun front button placket. I love using outfit themed buttons ❤
Miss Ashylnn LOVES Minnie Mouse! When she saw this Minnie and Mickey print at Joann’s she HAS to have a Minnie Mouse Valentine’s dress
Mr Andrew being a Mickey Mouse fan needed a vest and bow tie in the same print! The vest and bow tie are from Little Lizard King.
Breanna chose Swiss Army Shirt by New Horizon Designs for The Son. This shirt has so many options it is just plain INSANE! She chose a short sleeves polo with sleeve tabs. This shirt can be all knit or a mix of knit and woven like here. Valentine’s leant naturally to The Son’s love of all clothes red. 😀 At this time, 99% of his closet is red or maroon. HEHE!
And who can resist a boy in a bow tie!
Once we got going, the kids got into the fun of taking pictures and we had fun watching them, from laughing at throwing petals…..
